Rheem Air Conditioning in Apex

When your AC stops cooling in the middle of a Triangle summer, you need answers fast, not a runaround. Element Service Group sends a licensed HVAC tech to your door the same day you call, often within a couple hours. A $49 diagnostic gets you a full system check, a straight explanation of what's going on, and your options laid out clearly. No pressure. That's how a veteran-owned company with over 700 five-star reviews earns your trust before earning your business.

What Falls Under Air Conditioning Service

AC work covers a lot of ground. On the repair side, that includes everything from a system blowing warm air to a compressor that won't kick on, refrigerant leaks, frozen evaporator coils, and electrical failures. When repairs stop making financial sense, we handle full system replacements and new installations, properly sized for your home, not just swapped out by the spec sheet from the old unit.

Routine tune-ups keep your system running at peak efficiency. Emergency repairs are available when your AC dies on a 97-degree Saturday afternoon. And for homes where traditional ductwork doesn't reach or doesn't make sense (sunrooms, garage conversions, additions), ductless mini-split systems are a great fit.

We also handle the air quality side: whole-home air purification and UV light systems that kill mold and bacteria inside your ductwork. If your home feels stuffy, dusty, or you're getting headaches, those services find the root cause.

Why This Matters in the Triangle

Apex, Cary, Holly Springs, and Fuquay-Varina went through a massive building boom between 2000 and 2015. That means a lot of homes are now running original equipment that's 10 to 25 years old. Systems installed during that era were solid, but they weren't designed for the efficiency standards we have today. Many are running SEER 10-13 when modern units hit SEER 16-20+.

And Triangle summers are no joke. When it's 95 degrees for weeks straight, which happens every July and August, your AC runs 10 to 14 hours a day. Duke Energy customers in Wake County regularly see summer electric bills north of $200 a month. An aging system makes that worse.

The Real Cost of Waiting

Most AC problems don't start as emergencies. They start as small noises, slightly warm air, or a system that cycles on and off more than it used to. Catching those early with a $49 diagnostic can save you thousands compared to a full breakdown in the middle of summer when every HVAC company in Raleigh-Durham has a two-week wait list.

Element Service Group has been doing this across the Triangle long enough to know what breaks, when it breaks, and why. Whether your home is in a Cary subdivision off Kildaire Farm Road or a newer build in Apex near Beaver Creek, the patterns are predictable, and so is the fix when you catch it early.

What to Expect

You call, we show up the same day. The tech runs a full system diagnostic for $49, not a teaser inspection designed to scare you into a sale. You get a written report, honest recommendations, and the choice is yours. The $49 covers the visit and the diagnosis, and any repair is quoted before work starts. That's it.
