AC Blowing Air but Not Cooling in Creedmoor
What the customer reported
A Creedmoor homeowner reported the unit was still running and blowing air, but it was not cooling as much, and it was really warm at the home.
What we found and did
Manny found a failed single run capacitor and the compressor was down. He installed a dual run capacitor, wiring the compressor to HERM and leaving FAN open for the ECM motor. He also checked system pressures at 130.8 Psig (22°F SH) and 341.4 Psig (7.4°F SC).
Result
The system had a 19°F temperature drop (80 degrees at return and 61 at supply) and was cooling normally under high load.
