An Apex homeowner in the 27502 area had approved an estimate to replace the blower motor in their cooling system. Jeorell picked up the new blower motor from a local Lennox parts supplier, then removed the old blower motor and installed the new one. After the installation, he tested the system's operation.

Jeorell found that the bearings on the blower were going bad and would need to be replaced for proper operation. He could hear the blower noise from the 2nd floor before even going into the attic, then inspected the blower and found some build up from over time, though nothing was blocking it from spinning. He talked with the homeowner about a blower wheel cleaning to be done along with the motor replacement and provided estimates for both.

Jeorell found that the blower module was not working properly and was causing the blower not to run properly. He documented the blower noise on video and determined that the blower motor will have to be replaced for proper operation. An Apex homeowner reported that the third-floor unit was not working for both cooling and heating, although the fan still worked.
Mario found that the unit in the attic was not receiving a call from the thermostat, and after it briefly started working it ran for about 10 minutes before cutting out while the thermostat continued to reset. He also found the thermostat would not respond in heat mode. Mario replaced the thermostat and then tested operations of the unit.
The unit ran for 30 minutes without issue and the system was cooling properly, with the homeowner continuing to monitor for any intermittent issues.
