Units were still leaking after an earlier visit, and the 3rd floor head was still not running. Two mini splits were leaking by the elevator lobbies.
On the first unit, Bernard and Manny found that the pump motor and solid-state sensors were working fine, but the unclamped vinyl lines were leaking under pressure. They secured all vinyl connections with hose clamps and leveled and secured the in-line condensate pump with electrical wire and refrigerant lines. On the second unit, water was overflowing the drain pan because of a missing reservoir/sensor assembly (empty control port), a clogged old tubing splice, and an un-adapted 3/8-inch drain line. They installed a new reservoir tank and digital sensor assembly, cut out the clogged splice, adapted the 1/4-inch pump ports to the 3/8-inch drain line with a reducing barb, and clamped all connections.
The drain line on the first unit was no longer leaking, and automatic cycling was verified on the second unit.
