Why Is My AC Not Cooling Properly in Garner?
The Problem
The homeowner noticed that their air conditioning system was not cooling their home effectively.
What We Found
Tay and Aaron found that the cooling system was overdue for a tune-up, which was affecting its efficiency.
The Fix
Tay and Aaron performed a comprehensive AHS tune-up on the cooling system. They checked the thermostat operation, tested the temperature split, and performed amp draws on the motors and compressor. They also rinsed the condenser coil with water, checked the contactor and condensate lines, inspected the disconnect, checked the evaporator coil, and tested the capacitor.
The Result
The air conditioning system was restored to optimal performance, providing efficient cooling to the home.
Pro Tip
If your AC isn't cooling well, it might be time to clean the condenser coil. A dirty coil can reduce efficiency and increase energy costs. Rinsing it with water can improve performance significantly.

Why Is My AC Not Cooling Properly in Garner?
The Problem
A homeowner in Garner noticed their AC wasn't cooling their home effectively.
What We Found
Tay and Dexter found that both capacitors were under specifications and there was water slim in the condensation pump.
The Fix
Tay and Dexter performed a thorough maintenance check on the cooling system. They cleaned the coils and drain pipe, checked the capacitor and contactor, and ensured the delta T and pressure were within proper ranges. After addressing the capacitor issues and cleaning the condensation pump, the system was restored to proper working order.
The Result
The AC system was functioning properly, providing effective cooling throughout the home.
Pro Tip
If your AC isn't cooling effectively, it might be due to underperforming capacitors. Regular maintenance can catch these issues early, preventing larger system failures.

Why Is My AC Making Strange Noises in Garner?
The Problem
A homeowner in Garner noticed unusual noises coming from their air conditioning unit.
What We Found
Dexter and Jeorell discovered that the capacitor and contactor were aging and could cause issues if not addressed.
The Fix
They performed a thorough maintenance check, inspecting the capacitor, contactor, refrigerant levels, and electrical components. They cleaned the unit and recommended replacing the capacitor and contactor due to their age. Additionally, they suggested installing a surge protection device to protect the ECM motor from potential damage.
The Result
The system was confirmed to be working properly after the maintenance, with recommendations provided for future improvements.
Pro Tip
If your AC is over five years old, consider replacing the capacitor and contactor to prevent unexpected breakdowns. Installing a surge protection device can also safeguard your system's ECM motor from power surges.

Why Is My AC Not Cooling Properly in Garner?
The Problem
A homeowner in Garner noticed their air conditioning system wasn't cooling the home effectively.
What We Found
Jeorell and Tay found that the blower capacitor was almost out of specification, which could affect the system's performance.
The Fix
The technicians performed a comprehensive maintenance check, starting with the filters and thermostat inside the home. They then inspected the air handler in the attic, checking the indoor coil, blower cleanliness, blower capacitor, and blower amps. After a visual inspection of refrigerant lines and wire connections, they cleaned the outdoor coil with cleaner and water, and checked the compressor amp, fan amps, capacitor, and pressures.
The Result
The maintenance ensured the system was running more efficiently, and an estimate for replacing the blower capacitor was provided.
Pro Tip
If your blower capacitor is nearing the end of its life, it can lead to inefficient cooling. Consider scheduling a replacement before it fails completely to maintain optimal system performance.

HVAC Maintenance reviews in Garner
“Today we had the pleasure of meeting Chris with Element Service. An old hand-crank pump that has been in our yard for 62 years ruptured when someone actually tried to crank the pump to see if it worked. Our backyard was flooded and we were beside ourselves when we learned our home maintenance plan wouldn't cover the repair. But then we remembered that the Element HVAC team had been out to service our unit and had told us they also had a plumbing division. We called this morning and they made a way out of no way to get someone here today. At 2:38PM we got the call from Chris and he was on the way! He was GREAT! Not only did he cap the line--having to bust through concrete to do so--he also kept us laughing! We were so upset when he got here, but were laughing and having a good ole time when he was done. He was determined not to leave until he fixed the problem and got our water back on. As the cliché goes, that was service with a smile! Thanks so much Chris, and thanks to the HVAC team for letting us know they also provided plumbing service. And I would be remiss if I did not mention the cost! We were floored as we were expecting an astronomical bill--especially having to get through concrete! Needless to say we were greatly surprised!!! Thanks again, Chris! Cameron has a good one!!!”

“I’d like to extend a big thank you to Nick and the new plumbing department at Element Service Group. They’ve consistently done an excellent job maintaining my HVAC system, so when I learned they had started a plumbing department, I expected the same level of professionalism—and they delivered.
They provided a courtesy plumbing inspection and thoroughly checked my entire home. I’m happy to say everything received a big check mark. The only recommendations were simple maintenance items to help keep everything in great condition and give me peace of mind about my plumbing.
I highly recommend their team. I’ve lived in this home for 40 years and have had many different tradesmen work here, but today I realized I’ve finally found the right company.”

“I contracted this repair through my home warranty company AHS. A different company they initially had sent me to was going to charge me $2000 in out of pocket costs. Mario came from Element and re-diagnosed the problem and turns out I didn't need the part the other company wanted to replace. All in all Mario ended up saving me $1500. And on top of that, he was able to add 1 year of maintenance checkup within the amount I was paying. I will be going with Element from now on.”
